Fishing boat author, editor and all round herring expert Mike Smylie (AKA Kipperman) is on the hunt for an original example of this fabulous old poster showing a steam drifter in rough weather.

Stunning, aren’t they? eBay operators Rodstar Posters is selling a range of prints of prints of old railway company advertising posters, many of them featuring coastal, seaside and maritime themes, along with many others. If only there were more empty walls in our house, I’d happily invest in quite a few!
