Flying 10 racing yachts in the 1050s. The tiny keelboats were designed by Uffa Fox

Tonight’s pictures are of a fleet of Uffa Fox’s sweetly diminutive Flying 10 racing keelboats that were kept at the West Lancashire Yacht Club, Southport, in the 1950s. They make quite a sight, don’t they?

Photos of a couple of hot-moulded 1940s and 50s Fairey Marine dinghies that turned up at the Beale Park Boat Show. The little paddler divides into two to fit in a car boot

Once popular, Fairey’s hot-moulded dinghies built in the post-War era usually to Uffa Fox’s designs are rarely seen now.
