Currently being restored by the Classic Sailing Club, the Fife-built classic 8-metre racing yachts Ierne and Truant will compete in the 8 Metre World Championships in July, and then in a re-enactment of the Jura Duel.

I can’t claim this is about any kind of traditional boat, but I think I can safely say that rowing is a traditional activity, that more people should do it and that this post is about a neat and inexpensive way of equipping yourself to do it.
