Once again, my thanks to regular reader Hans-Christian Riecke.
Gavin Atkin's weblog for the sort of people who like looking inside boat sheds. It's about old boats, traditional boats, boat building, restoration, the sea and the North Kent Coast

Wikipedia: Herzogin Cecilie was a German four-mast barque (windjammer), named after German Crown Princess Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1886–1954), spouse of Crown Prince Wilhelm of Prussia (1882–1951) (Herzogin being German for Duchess).
She was actually the vessel that Elis Karlsen sailed on in MOTHER SEA, one of the best of all sailing books.
Thanks Ginny – I’ll look out for that, as I don’t know it.
