Lovely! Beautiful boats in fair winds. What are the performance differences between the traditional rigs (? bowsprit & split headsails, gaff main, etc.) and the marconi rig boat shown at the end (w11)?

In real life, I think comparisons can be difficult – it isn’t just the rig itself, but also the whole rig/hull system, the age of the sails, how well a boat is set up, and the ability of the helmsman.
