Adam Newton of the Boatyard at Beer has been busy building a new 14ft rowing boat that is a stretched version of a Shaldon Regatta – he has built the boat using the same moulds he used to build an earlier project. It’s shown in this post and it’s well worth a look: Adam Newton of Beer, Devon builds a gorgeous 12ft glued clinker rowing skiff.
She’s made from 6mm ply, epoxy glued clinker and will be finished off with mahogany gunwales and seats, with a 4ft 6in beam and a 3ft transom.
Adam is hoping to have her finished by August, when she will be for sale. If anyone’s interested, email him at adam.newton@hotmail.co.uk .
