When he arrived at New York, solo circumnavigator Alain Gerbault received many letters from people who wished to sail with him in his narrow and old-fashioned yacht.

In an experimental first reading for, Julie Arnott reads a short passage from Gerbault’s book about the arguments they presented. Clearly none prevailed for a few years later he finished his long voyage tout seul.
