Hi, I am one of the partners that created the exhibition at the River and Rowing Museum called ...in the footsteps of Henry Taunt. This exhibition is accompanied by a beautiful book called The River Thames Revisited. It is published by Frances Lincoln, ISBN 978-0-71122-765-1.
My partner, Graham Diprose, and I, also have a web site covering all aspects of the project which will go live just as soon as all parties involved approve. All the images used throughout the project are owned by either English Heritage, Oxfordshire Libraries, The River and Rowing Museum and ourselves. If you would like any further information on this project or any images that form part of it then please contact me at jeff@jeffrobinsphoto.co.uk or Graham Diprose at grahamdiprose@gmail.com.

A customer has suggested that we reprint Taunt's works, currently available in only quite expensive editions. We are kindly disposed to this idea, (just a look at these photographs is encouragement enough), but would like to know what kind of response such a reprint would engender. We would like to hear from all interested parties. Our website is listed above for reference to the works we already publish.

What a fantastic set of pix! I note the large glass plate camera on top of the houseboat and the detail in plate negs. Was the 'houseboat a floating darkroom maybe? As a one-time railway and yacht modeler my fingers itched at the shot of the Anglers Hotel and the effort put in to setting up the shot. Great stuff Gavin. We've just had the 'Three men in a boat' doc. here and the difference along the banks is amazing. No tow paths for a start. Love to see the exhibition.
